Casualty Field Adjuster - North East (Insurance)

Location: Fully remote and home based in the UK, covering casualty caseloads across the North East of England; travel within this area is required.

What you will do

• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, brokers, and other parties throughout the claims process.
• Investigate allocated casualty claims in the field or from home and compile supporting evidence and documentation.
• Prepare preliminary reports covering policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and recommended tactics.
• Determine appropriate actions, defend or negotiate settlements, and progress cases to conclusion within agreed authority limits.
• Maintain accurate reserves through regular reviews and follow documented client procedures.
• Keep technical knowledge current through training and professional development.

Requirements

• Experience as a casualty adjuster or investigator is suitable, although industry experience is not essential.
• Ability and ambition to develop the skills and knowledge required for casualty claims handling.
• Must be home based in the UK and able to travel across the North East of England.
• Ability to assess evidence, liability, quantum, and settlement options professionally.
