What you will do
- Design, architect, and optimize SQL Server databases for high-volume healthcare systems.
- Develop advanced T-SQL solutions, database structures, indexing strategies, and schema evolution plans.
- Lead performance tuning by analyzing execution plans, workloads, bottlenecks, and availability issues.
- Build and support ETL processes with SSIS and custom frameworks for healthcare data integration.
- Support CI/CD database deployments using Git, Jenkins, automated releases, and rollback procedures.
- Provide production support, incident response, root cause analysis, mentoring, code reviews, documentation, and data governance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SQL Server database engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Deep expertise in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
- Experience with SQL Server performance tuning, production database support, ETL development with SSIS or similar technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, automated deployments, .NET, and Visual Studio.
- Must be based in the United States; strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills are required.

- Healthcare data standards, regulatory environments, and third-party healthcare integrations.
- Enterprise data warehousing and large-scale healthcare data platform experience.
- LAMP stack, Jira, and Agile project experience.
