What you will do

• Design, architect, and optimize SQL Server databases for high-volume healthcare systems.
• Develop advanced T-SQL solutions, database structures, indexing strategies, and schema evolution plans.
• Lead performance tuning by analyzing execution plans, workloads, bottlenecks, and availability issues.
• Build and support ETL processes with SSIS and custom frameworks for healthcare data integration.
• Support CI/CD database deployments using Git, Jenkins, automated releases, and rollback procedures.
• Provide production support, incident response, root cause analysis, mentoring, code reviews, documentation, and data governance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SQL Server database engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
• Experience with SQL Server performance tuning, production database support, ETL development with SSIS or similar technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, automated deployments, .NET, and Visual Studio.
• Must be based in the United States; strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills are required.
