AI-First Product Designer

Location: Fully remote for candidates based in Tunisia

Salary: Up to EUR 16,000 per year on a full-time contractor contract

What you will do

• Own product improvements from problem framing through accepted design, implementation-ready handoff and design QA.
• Translate ambiguous client and internal requests into clear user needs, outcomes, constraints and acceptance criteria.
• Create flows, information architecture, wireframes, working prototypes, interaction design, high-fidelity UI and design-system components.
• Lead product and design discussions with clients, explain rationale, reconcile conflicting feedback and make pragmatic trade-offs.
• Use AI coding assistants and design tools to prototype real interactions, while critically reviewing AI-generated output.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Product, Engineering and Solutions to protect design intent through implementation and QA.

Requirements

• Strong UI/UX product design skills across interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, typography, accessibility and content.
• Portfolio demonstrating product thinking, outcomes and an end-to-end example of taking an ambiguous problem through iteration to an accepted or shipped result.
• Direct experience working with clients or senior stakeholders, including handling conflicting feedback and communicating trade-offs clearly.
• Demonstrable experience using AI tools and agents in professional, academic or personal work.
• Ability to use AI coding tools to create working browser prototypes and test real interactions; frontend or backend experience is useful but not required.
• Clear written and verbal English, reliable internet access and the ability to work remotely from Tunisia.

Nice to have

• Side projects, a small repository or a shipped AI experiment.
• Experience contributing reusable design components, patterns, skills or workflows.
• Design degree, although it is not required.

Hiring process

• Complete interviews covering an end-to-end portfolio case, client or stakeholder feedback and working methods.
• Complete a paid practical exercise with a clear 2–3 hour timebox, followed by a live playback and senior-leader interview.
