What you will do
- Lead end-to-end migration of SAP ECC and SAP BW data to AWS S3 and Databricks.
- Design and maintain standard, generic, and custom SAP extractors, including solutions for datasets unavailable through ODP.
- Build and manage SAP Data Services jobs and workflows with datastore configuration, delta processing, monitoring, and error handling.
- Configure and troubleshoot integrations between SAP Data Services and non-SAP platforms such as AWS S3.
- Validate migration quality and completeness by reconciling source and target datasets for full and delta loads.
- Collaborate with Databricks engineers and stakeholders while mentoring engineers and contributing to Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- 12+ years of SAP engineering experience, including SAP ECC and SAP BW data migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP BW data models and SAP extractor design.
- Hands-on SAP Data Services (BODS) experience, including jobs, workflows, datastores, delta processing, monitoring, and error handling.
- Experience with AWS S3, Databricks, and RFC/ABAP-based data extraction.
- Experience validating full and delta migrations through source-to-target reconciliation.
- Agile/Scrum experience, technical leadership, mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills.
