Senior Network Strategy Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Ipswich, or Belfast offices and two days remote.

What you will do

• Lead strategic recommendations supporting BT's long-term network vision and investment priorities.
• Develop spectrum strategies, valuation approaches, and auction participation scenarios.
• Build complex business cases and financial models for major network, technology, and infrastructure investments.
• Assess emerging technologies, market developments, regulatory changes, competitors, and network evolution.
• Support network transformation, mergers, acquisitions, and future growth initiatives.
• Present strategic insights and investment cases to senior leaders and executive audiences.

Requirements

• Experience with spectrum strategy, spectrum valuation, or telecommunications spectrum auctions.
• Understanding of commercial, regulatory, and policy considerations affecting network investment decisions.
• Experience developing network, technology, or spectrum strategies in a telecommunications environment.
• Strong understanding of mobile network technologies, spectrum policy, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience building and presenting executive-level business cases and financial models.

Nice to have

• Experience in telecommunications, technology, or strategy consulting.
• Experience with telecom operators, network infrastructure providers, or regulatory bodies.
• Experience assessing mergers, acquisitions, large-scale technology investments, demand forecasts, scenario modelling, or techno-economic analysis.
