Junior Cloud Engineer (GCP)

Location: Hybrid in Santiago de Compostela or León, Spain

What you will do

• Collaborate on migrating workloads from on-premise and other cloud environments to Google Cloud Platform.
• Contribute to migration projects across requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance.
• Implement GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools, covering governance, networking, security, scaling, load balancing, storage, backups, and virtual machines.
• Build observability solutions with logging, monitoring, and tracing to maintain workload health and performance.
• Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and data.
• Complete ongoing GCP training and certifications across architecture, data, storage, networking, and multi-cloud services.

Requirements

• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based IT solutions.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure teams and support multiple customer environments.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.
• Hybrid work in Santiago de Compostela or León, Spain.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Platform certification.
• Professional experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
