What you will do

• Design and develop data pipelines for decision-making and sophisticated data science applications.
• Define and implement architectures for modern data platforms, specifically using DataBricks.
• Deploy and maintain production-safe pipelines adhering to a DataOps culture.
• Integrate AI capabilities using advanced tools such as Foundry and Bedrock.
• Translate stakeholder needs into robust data product specifications, bridging the gap between engineering and business value.
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary agile teams to deliver scalable data platforms for large organisations.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in coding with Python and SQL.
• Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or DataBricks.
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated services.
• Experience applying DataOps concepts and a Data Product mindset.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, agile environments.
• Location: Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Leeds, UK
