What you will do

• Develop and improve machine learning models for abnormal behavior and cheating detection.
• Analyze large-scale game logs, user behavior data, and security events to identify anomalies and cheating patterns.
• Design detection features, logic, and operational metrics for hirify.global Security Services.
• Evaluate model performance, investigate false positives and false negatives, and improve model quality.
• Support security operations and enforcement response through data analysis.
• Collaborate with game studios, security engineers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in machine learning, deep learning, statistics, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience with machine learning modeling projects such as anomaly detection, classification, prediction, or pattern analysis in gameplay environments.
• Ability to analyze large-scale log and event data using Python, SQL, or similar tools.
• Understanding of end-to-end machine learning workflows, including data cleansing, feature engineering, training data construction, and model evaluation.
• Experience improving machine learning or deep learning models and evaluating performance quantitatively.
• Ability to define problems independently and drive data-based improvements.

Nice to have

• Experience with anti-cheat, cheating or abuse detection, or abnormal behavior analysis using game data.
• Gameplay experience or data knowledge in FPS/TPS, battle royale, or MMORPG genres.
• Experience building or operating machine learning pipelines and processing large-scale log data.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Experience collaborating with global organizations or studios; Korean or another additional language is a plus.
