What you will do

• Design and deliver models measuring player value, incremental impact, and long-term platform value.
• Apply causal inference, forecasting, optimization, and machine learning to launches, investments, and market events.
• Build scenario and optimization models for long-range planning and investment decisions under real-world constraints.
• Own ambiguous business problems from definition through delivery, adoption, and measurable impact.
• Partner with Finance, Strategy, and Platform stakeholders to support trustworthy, actionable decision-making.
• Mentor data scientists and communicate modelling assumptions and outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences, including Finance leadership.

Requirements

• Industry experience delivering analytical and modelling solutions for customer value, incrementality, forecasting, or investment decisioning.
• Strong grounding in causal inference and impact measurement, with sound judgement regarding assumptions and correlation.
• Experience with optimization or operations research, or a strong quantitative foundation to develop this expertise.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end, work with large complex datasets, and deliver scalable, trustworthy solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using PySpark or equivalent distributed data-processing tools.
• Master’s or PhD in operations research, machine learning, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

• Experience in gaming, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses.
• Experience partnering with Finance or commercial teams on portfolio, investment, or impact-attribution problems.
• Knowledge of experimentation frameworks and advanced machine learning techniques such as transformers, embeddings, or sequence-based models.
• Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
