What you will do

• Create and polish animations for characters, creatures, and gameplay assets to meet project aesthetic and technical standards.
• Collaborate with animation, technical art, design, narrative, and engineering to support responsive and expressive animation.
• Improve animation tools, workflows, processes, and production pipelines.
• Manage production workload and timeboxes to meet milestone goals while maintaining high quality.
• Iterate on assets based on feedback, evaluate team work, and provide animation guidance.
• Mentor junior team members and help establish a high visual and technical standard.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional animation experience.
• At least one shipped Unreal Engine title in an animation role.
• Professional experience working directly in Unreal Engine and with Blender or related animation software.
• Extensive knowledge of animation pipelines, documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of keyframe and motion capture techniques and processes.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, art fundamentals, and aesthetic judgment.

Nice to have

• Advanced Blender experience.
• Creature or non-bipedal animation experience.
• First-person animation experience.
