What you will do

• Create and implement high-quality animation content for new behaviors and systems in-engine.
• Define and maintain the style and quality bar for in-game animations.
• Collaborate with Animation, Design, and Engineering to resolve technical animation challenges.
• Mentor team members and create documentation for complex projects.
• Contribute to the strategic development of internal technologies and artistic processes.
• Innovate and streamline animation pipeline processes and workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in gameplay animation.
• Proven track record of creating visually stunning animations for diverse game genres.
• Full understanding of state machines, blend trees, and IK solvers.
• Expertise in mocap and keyframe pipelines using Maya or Motionbuilder.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, C++ or other programming languages is required.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Santa Monica, CA.
