Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize shaders, textures, and models for performant content.
• Build and optimize pipelines and workflows to streamline game production.
• Develop custom tools and editor extensions in Unreal Engine, Maya, and Houdini.
• Collaborate with Art, Engineering, Design, and Production teams as a technical bridge.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks related to rendering and memory.
• Ensure art content is optimized for multiplayer gameplay across platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in the games industry.
• Proficiency in HLSL, C++, Python, or equivalent programming languages.
• Experience shipping at least one AAA or high-quality AA title on PC or console.
• Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, including Blueprints, Materials, and Niagara.
• Strong understanding of PBR, shader development, and real-time rendering.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ontario, Canada

Nice to have

• Experience shipping multiplayer titles.
• Experience with procedural content generation workflows and Houdini Engine.
