Junior Quality Engineer (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Support the deployment and maintenance of the Quality Management System across the programme.
• Prepare quality plans, inspection coordination activities, test plans, reports, and quality documentation.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 19443, regulatory requirements, and project quality processes.
• Conduct and support internal and supplier audits while monitoring quality performance.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with project teams, internal stakeholders, suppliers, and EPC contractors.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or compliance.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 or similar recognised standards.
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries such as nuclear, defence, aerospace, rail, or oil and gas.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus SharePoint or similar collaborative platforms.

Nice to have

• Nuclear-sector experience and familiarity with ISO 19443.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Atlassian tools.
• Supplier quality or audit programme experience.
