What you will do

• Review, comment on, and validate engineering and CAD deliverables, including structural, piping, fabrication, welding, and calculation documentation.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, and internal quality management procedures.
• Ensure mechanical quality across steel structures, piping systems, supports, bolted and welded assemblies, and pressure equipment.
• Define and review welding and NDT requirements, including WPS/PQR/WPQ, VT, MT, PT, UT, and RT.
• Prepare ITPs, QCPs, engineering quality plans, checklists, and inspection documentation; manage Hold Points, Witness Points, MRB reviews, material certificates, NDT reports, and FATs.
• Participate in design and constructability reviews, Lessons Learned, RCA/CAPA activities, and escalation of critical quality issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, QHSE, or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of Engineering Quality Assurance experience, including work on at least 3 EPC projects with significant site or construction exposure.
• Strong expertise in mechanical structures, piping, welding engineering, pressure equipment, fabrication drawings, and multidisciplinary engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of ITPs, QCPs, ISO 9001, QA methodologies, RCA/CAPA, and applicable standards including EN 1090, ISO 3834, ASME Section IX, and AWS.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Plant 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent French and English required.

• Experience in fabrication workshops or construction environments.
• Experience with modular construction.
• Strong ability to read 3D models and fabrication, workshop, welding, structural, piping, and isometric drawings.
