Bioprocess Engineer (DSP)

Location: Fully site-based in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

What you will do

• Lead and oversee DSP manufacturing campaigns, ensuring execution and documentation are compliant with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the manufacturing Functional Lead for assigned products, coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining technical expertise.
• Drive risk management activities, including SHE, EM, operational, and product risk assessments.
• Maintain GMP documentation such as SOPs, manufacturing instructions, and records to ensure audit readiness.
• Train and support manufacturing personnel to foster a culture of safety and quality.
• Provide technical input for capital projects, including facility design, equipment selection, and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically downstream processing (DSP).
• Solid understanding of cGMP requirements and regulatory standards for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience managing quality systems, including risk assessments, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes in complex environments.
• Demonstrated project leadership and team coordination experience.
