What you will do

  • Oversee programme implementation across priority provinces in Papua, ensuring activities follow approved plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Maintain program monitoring systems to track key performance indicators and achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Prepare high-quality donor reports, briefing notes, and management presentations according to hirify.global and KOICA standards.
  • Coordinate activities related to health workforce development, maternal/neonatal referral systems, and community engagement.
  • Manage strategic relationships with Bappenas, the Ministry of Health, and other national and subnational government stakeholders.
  • Facilitate donor missions, external reviews, and audits, ensuring timely preparation of documentation.

Requirements

  • Medical doctor or Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Hospital Management, Epidemiology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in programme management, health systems strengthening, or maternal and newborn health.
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-year development programmes funded by international donors.
  • Proven ability to engage with government counterparts at national and subnational levels.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Must be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in fragile settings, humanitarian contexts, or remote areas of eastern Indonesia.
  • Previous experience with UN agencies, bilateral donors, or government institutions.
