Salary: $120,500 - $243,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement innovative software and features for next-generation Wi-Fi Access Points.
• Develop firmware, bootloaders (U-Boot), and perform early hardware bring-up for new 802.11 hardware.
• Optimize software performance and adapt solutions for new hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with data analytics and machine learning teams to enable adaptive wireless networking.
• Work with product managers and customers to resolve defects and deliver new technical features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant software development experience.
• 2–3 years of experience developing networking devices such as Wi-Fi Access Points.
• Strong proficiency in C and deep experience with Linux kernel development.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems, firmware, and hardware/software interaction.
• Must be able to work onsite from an HPE office.
