What you will do

• Define end-to-end hardware and software architectures for RDMA, RoCE, and Ultra Ethernet.
• Architect NIC datapaths, offloads, and programmable congestion control tailored for AI networking.
• Translate customer and standards requirements into silicon-aware architectures using executable modeling and workload analysis.
• Design queue, buffer, and telemetry systems to ensure memory architectures meet target workloads.
• Collaborate with programmable logic teams to define APIs and hardware-software interfaces.
• Drive industry standards and multi-vendor convergence within the Ultra Ethernet Consortium and Open Compute Project.

Requirements

• MS or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computing, or a closely related discipline.
• 16+ years of dedicated experience in high-performance NIC and network-system architecture.
• Deep expertise in RDMA transports, congestion control algorithms, and multipath packet spraying.
• Extensive background in FPGA/ASIC systems and defining firmware/driver interfaces.
• Proven track record of guiding cross-organizational engineering teams through implementation.
• Experience in network standardization bodies (e.g., Ultra Ethernet Transport Software Working Group).
