What you will do

• Co-lead the end-to-end architecture and design for a new enterprise PLM system, including data models, workflows, and security.
• Partner with stakeholders in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to translate business requirements into a future-proof architecture.
• Oversee technical integrations between the PLM system and other enterprise platforms like ERP, MES, CAD/CAM, and QMS.
• Establish data governance standards for item/part numbering, BOM structures, and change management (ECR/ECO).
• Guide the data migration strategy and validation from legacy systems into the new platform.
• Mentor junior architects and analysts on PLM best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with PLM systems, including 5+ years in an architect or lead technical design role.
• Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle, new PLM system implementation from the ground up.
• Deep expertise in PLM data models, BOM management, document control, and revision practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of PLM experience with 10+ years in an architect role.
• PLM platform-specific certifications.
• Experience with cloud-based or SaaS PLM deployments.
• Prior experience as a solution architect across multiple concurrent enterprise implementations.
