Salary: $122,000 - $173,117 USD (US); $146,206 - $177,828 CAD (Canada)

What you will do

• Own impactful problem spaces across product and business domains, from framing questions to implementing solutions.
• Design and evaluate randomized controlled experiments to measure the impact of strategic changes.
• Analyze product data to uncover root causes of metric movements.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to inform product decisions with data.
• Contribute to tools, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance the company's data-driven culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytical/quantitative roles, including 2+ years as a Data Scientist.
• Availability for coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
• Proficiency in statistical techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing, and causal inference.
• Experience using Python or R for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into analytical questions and communicate technical results.

Nice to have

• Experience with recommender systems, offline analysis, and online experiments.
• Experience with large datasets and distributed computing tools like Presto or Trino.
