What you will do

• Execute manual test cases for mechatronic systems in lab and field environments.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and maintain technical documentation.
• Report bugs and defects using test case management tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to validate integrated system performance.
• Mentor junior testers and contribute to the development of QA processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) testing of mechatronic (Electro-Mechanical) systems.
• Proficiency in test design, bug tracking, and component integration validation.
• Experience testing both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Exposure to scripting tools such as Python or Bash and data analysis techniques.
• Must be based in or be able to work 100% onsite in Fort Worth, TX or Logan, UT.

Nice to have

• Experience with safety analysis such as HARAs, STPAs, and FMEAs.
• INCOSE SEP or CPRE certification.
