TL;DR
Manager, Awards, Events & Industry Relations (Awards Campaigns and Events): Managing awards campaigns, festival submissions, screenings, premieres, talent activations, and industry events across BritBox and BBC Select with an accent on stakeholder coordination, event logistics, relationship management, and budget tracking. Focus on maintaining complex awards calendars and industry databases, coordinating vendors and talent representatives, and delivering campaigns and events on time and within budget.

Location: New York, United States; flexible hybrid working arrangements

Annual base salary: $100,000–$110,000

hirify.global Studios is a global media company producing and distributing TV, audio, and digital content, including BritBox and hirify.global Select programming.

What you will do

  • Manage awards campaigns, submissions, eligibility requirements, deadlines, materials, budgets, and stakeholder coordination across BritBox and hirify.global Select titles.
  • Act as the day-to-day contact for awards organizations including the Emmys, Golden Globes, International Emmys, Peabody Awards, and Critics Choice.
  • Plan and execute festival participation, screenings, premieres, receptions, talent dinners, and other industry-facing events.
  • Coordinate talent appearances, gifting initiatives, guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, event materials, vendors, venues, hotels, and on-site logistics.
  • Build and maintain centralized industry contact databases, annual calendars, planning tools, trackers, and workflows.
  • Partner with Publicity, Communications, Marketing, Production, Creative, Legal, and Finance teams to deliver activity on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Experience managing awards campaigns, events, festivals, or publicity initiatives in entertainment, media, streaming, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the North American awards, events, and festival landscape.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, budgets, vendors, timelines, and trackers.
  • Strong event planning, logistical coordination, organizational, project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with talent, representatives, producers, vendors, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to build systems, calendars, databases, and workflows that improve visibility and efficiency.
