TL;DR

AI Developer (AI agents/LLMs): Building AI-powered product features and production-ready AI agents with an accent on secure deployment, integrations, and observability. Location: Hybrid in Oakville, Ontario, with three days per week in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Build AI-powered features and AI agents from design through implementation and testing.
• Deploy and support AI agents in secure production environments with authentication, data protection, and observability.
• Develop AI tooling and MCP servers that integrate product features with internal services, APIs, and data sources.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to deliver functional and secure AI capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and improve practices for AI agent development, testing, and deployment.
• Track developments in LLMs, agent frameworks, and AI development lifecycle practices.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience with strong programming fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience developing AI agents from prototypes toward production deployment.
• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, prompt engineering, and LLM application patterns.
• Familiarity with MCP or similar integration frameworks, APIs, webhooks, and service integrations.
• Understanding of secure production deployment, authentication, data protection, observability, web frameworks, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-DLC or a similar structured approach to AI development.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Express, or similar web frameworks.
