Events Program Manager

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end operational execution for small- and medium-sized meetings, offsites, and internal business events.
• Manage venue sourcing, contract negotiations, room blocks, group air, and ground transportation.
• Build and operationalize the global Meetings & Events strategy, including governance, intake processes, and planning standards.
• Implement and optimize event technology and AI-enabled workflows to improve business processes.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to provide visibility into event spend, supplier performance, and program health.
• Create playbooks and standardized documentation to enable scalable event planning across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate meetings and events, strategic sourcing, or travel management.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating venue, hotel, and supplier contracts.
• Strong project management and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Analytical skills with experience developing reports and program metrics.
• Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, California.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or administering event platforms such as Cvent, Groupize, HRS, or Navan.
• Experience leveraging automation, AI, or workflow technology to improve business processes.
• Professional certifications such as CMP or CMM.
