Salary: $185,250 – $308,750

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end CAPEX investment projects ($50-150m) through engineering, design, construction, and qualification phases.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery.
• Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams including validation, facilities, operations, and external partners.
• Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards (HSE and health authority requirements).
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress and provide detailed reporting to senior stakeholders and Steering Committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, etc.).
• Extensive experience in project engineering and management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of leading engineering and construction services for schedule-driven projects.
• Strong technical knowledge across process, utilities, automation, instrumentation, and civil engineering.
• Expertise in capital project management, including cost control and scheduling.
• Must be based in or work onsite at the Vacaville, CA facility.

Nice to have

• GMP experience in large-scale biological drug substance.
• Brownfield experience specifically with tight shutdown construction windows.
• Experience with modern CQV approaches and regulatory expectations.
