What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Node.js backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless solutions.
• Investigate data integrity issues using SQL, DynamoDB, RDS, logs, and code; perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues across enterprise-level systems.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, designers, and managers to gather requirements, plan delivery, and present completed features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, architecture activities, estimation, deployment, and project governance.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical communities and engineering capability development.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing backend systems with Node.js and AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3.
• Experience designing scalable, performant, secure, and well-tested enterprise systems, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ability to analyze logs and databases, resolve data inconsistencies, perform root cause analysis, and correct underlying code.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, UML, C4 or ArchiMate, and common architectural and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile software development, unit testing, and ORM technologies.
• Proficiency in English and availability to work remotely from Moldova.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, modern frontend build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with OWASP and additional AWS technologies.
• Experience optimizing backend performance and troubleshooting complex systems.
