What you will do

• Review project and product design requirements with Project Engineering.
• Develop concepts, detailed designs, sub-assemblies, and detail drawings for approval and release.
• Create bills of materials and perform mechanical design calculations.
• Prepare project and product documentation and coordinate approval processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments and contribute ideas that improve products and engineering operations.
• Build technical skills through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of machine design experience.
• At least 2 years of SolidWorks experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machine design and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, with the ability to apply mechanical engineering standards and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel on a limited basis.
