TL;DR

What you will do
- Evaluate books, vintage posters, and collectibles for Marketplace estimate requests.
- Conduct extensive research to establish provenance, publication, and exhibition history of property.
- Write and proofread high-quality catalogue notes and essays.
- Coordinate and manage sellers and their property through pre- and post-sale processes.
- Enter and edit catalogue data in ADM to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with Central Receiving and Photo Catalogue departments for shoot lists and layouts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Three years of experience in a related field, with an auction background preferred.
- Must be based in New York, USA.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of SAP, MARQ, ADM, and Brightspot.
- Proven administrative experience within the art or collectibles market.
