What you will do

• Maintain the enterprise risk and control framework, including standards, risk-control mapping, and documentation quality.
• Lead annual SOX and ICFR governance activities, scope support, and management certification.
• Drive control rationalization by identifying and replacing duplicative or low-value controls with efficient designs.
• Manage the deficiency governance process, focusing on root cause discipline, action plans, and executive reporting.
• Partner with Finance and IT control owners to enhance evidence quality and remediation readiness.
• Administer controls platforms (e.g., AuditBoard, Workiva) and provide health reporting to the Audit Committee.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems.
• 7+ years of experience in internal controls, SOX, ICFR, audit, or risk management.
• Strong working knowledge of COSO, SOX 404, and financial reporting controls.
• Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Proven ability to challenge control designs and translate audit concepts into business guidance.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA.
• Experience with governance platforms like AuditBoard, Workiva, ServiceNow IRM, or SAP GRC.
• Background in Aerospace, Defense, or government contracting environments.
• Familiarity with IT general controls (ITGC) and segregation of duties (SoD).
