What you will do

• Direct daily cybersecurity operations across incident response, vulnerability management, RMF, and security engineering workstreams.
• Lead operational meetings, status reviews, and track action items via the Integrated Master Schedule.
• Monitor service delivery, staffing, and operational performance to ensure contractual commitments are met.
• Serve as the primary operational escalation point for cross-functional technical issues.
• Drive continuous process improvement to identify workflow bottlenecks and increase efficiency.
• Develop executive status reports, metrics, and dashboards for government leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading cybersecurity operations or enterprise IT operations.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams supporting Federal customers.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity programs operating under FISMA or NIST guidance.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or other Federal civilian agencies.
• Familiarity with Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) programs.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or SharePoint.
• Certifications: PMP, CAPM, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CGRC.
