Salary: $153,075 - $275,535

What you will do
- Lead enterprise-wide response to high-risk cybersecurity incidents (APTs, ransomware, DDoS) as the Cyber Incident Commander.
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of containment, eradication, recovery, and resolution across cross-functional teams.
- Provide executive leadership by delivering critical updates to senior stakeholders and driving operational decision-making.
- Enhance the incident response program through post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and optimization of playbooks.
- Strengthen cyber readiness by designing and leading tabletop exercises to identify and close response gaps.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to manage major security incidents during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 8+ years of experience in security operations or IT, with 5+ years dedicated to information security incident handling.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven expertise in investigating complex threats, including APTs, ransomware, DDoS, and data exfiltration.
- Deep technical knowledge of enterprise/cloud environments, networking, and detection/response platforms.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional incident response activities and influencing executive leadership.
Nice to have
- Industry certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, SSCP, CISM, EC-Council, or Offensive Security.
