Sr. Solutions Architect (Modern Networking)

Location: Must be based in the Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, or West Palm Beach, FL area with up to 25% travel.

What you will do

• Lead presales discovery and analysis to map technical solutions to customer business goals and outcomes.
• Design and document comprehensive architectures including hardware, software, licensing, and cloud services.
• Create and deliver compelling technical proposals and strategic roadmaps directly to clients.
• Build and manage relationships with management, directors, and C-level executives to position long-term value.
• Collaborate with vendor partners such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet to execute GTM strategies.
• Mentor sales and presales team members to foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• 7+ years of working experience in systems engineering and/or solution architecture.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco switching and routing (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR) or Cisco Wireless.
• Experience with security platforms (Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, Meraki MX, Fortinet) or NAC platforms (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass).
• Proficiency in Cloud Platform connectivity such as AWS DirectConnect, Azure ExpressRoute, or Google Connect.
• Strong understanding of IT and Cloud Operating Models, including OSI and ITIL frameworks.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, or AWS.
• Experience with Arista or Aruba CX series switching and wireless.
• Proficiency with Cisco Commerce tools (CCW).
• Experience writing Statements of Work (SOW) and Bills of Material (BoM).
• Demonstrated comfort leading CIO/CTO-level presentations and whiteboard sessions.
