What you will do

• Develop fast, ambitious web applications and scalable, event-driven backend services.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create features with significant business impact and intuitive UI components.
• Identify technical bottlenecks and improve the frontend developer experience.
• Apply high coding standards and implement automated unit and acceptance tests to ensure software quality.
• Design and implement technical solutions within a nimble, multidisciplinary team.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and whiteboarding sessions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience with Java and object-oriented software design.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals and its latest developments.
• Experience building RESTful APIs (knowledge of GraphQL is a bonus).
• Ability to reason about trade-offs when selecting backend technologies.
• Must be based in Ireland, Northern Ireland, or the UK.
