What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solutionize and deliver high-impact product features.
• Lead the creation of detailed technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Drive the implementation of advanced testing strategies to ensure high code reliability.
• Write efficient, scalable, and well-architected code using industry-standard design patterns.
• Mentor colleagues through code reviews and pair programming sessions.
• Facilitate team learning through tech-talks and workshops.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
• Extensive experience with Object-Oriented programming and PHP.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID and DRY.
• Expertise in relational database technologies.
• Proven experience designing APIs and services in a service-oriented environment.
• Good written and spoken English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise-scale systems.
• Familiarity with Scrum or other agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud computing and Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of TDD, Refactoring, and Domain-Driven Design.
