What you will do
- Architect and develop scalable test automation frameworks from scratch across web, API, and backend services.
- Serve as the technical authority on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Design and execute advanced non-functional tests, including performance and load tests, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Partner with development and product teams to implement shift-left testing and robust quality gates.
- Coach and mentor junior and mid-level SDETs on technical design and automation techniques.
- Contribute to the long-term quality roadmap and technology choices alongside Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Playwright automation framework.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline architectures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of REST API testing methodologies and tools.
- Must be based in Brazil.
- Strong engineering mindset with exceptional problem-solving acumen.
Nice to have
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior-level engineers.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
- Technical proficiency with K6, JMeter, Jenkins, or Harness.
- Substantive experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
