What you will do

• Build, maintain, and expand end-to-end automation with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable frameworks and increase regression coverage across frontend and backend systems.
• Identify flaky tests, troubleshoot DOM interactions, asynchronous behavior, and network requests, and improve execution speed.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable test environments and test data strategies.
• Partner with frontend and backend engineers on feature development, release planning, and testing strategy.
• Use AI tools and engineering best practices to improve exploratory testing and automation workflows.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on Playwright experience; Cypress experience is acceptable with willingness to transition.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of DOM interactions, asynchronous behavior, network requests, and flaky-test debugging.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and availability during U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Knowledge of test data management and role-based access testing.
• Experience with B2B SaaS or multi-tenant applications.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools, startups, or product-led environments.
