QA Engineer (AI): Building end-to-end quality assurance for a cloud-native spatial analytics platform with an accent on AI-assisted test generation, reliable automation, and spatial data validation. Focus on designing trustworthy AI-driven test tooling, detecting misleading coverage and assertions, and validating complex data flows across warehouses, maps, and spatial SQL.

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must be based in Spain; offices are available in Madrid and Seville.

What you will do

• Build AI tooling that converts requirements, specifications, and tickets into test plans and executable test cases.
• Use AI agents to create, extend, and repair automated tests while evaluating their correctness and coverage.
• Develop fast, stable test suites that run on every change and produce diagnosable failures.
• Partner with Development and Product Management to improve test coverage and prevent regressions.
• Automate manual test cases, perform exploratory and visual testing, and validate complex hirify.globalgraphic and data warehouse workflows.
• Create test datasets and use spatial SQL to validate analytical results.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA or test automation on a real product.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor.
• Ability to write and debug TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or a similar modern end-to-end testing framework, plus API testing.
• Experience using SQL to query and validate data.
• Clear written communication in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-driven test tooling, including agentic test generation, LLM-based assertions, self-healing selectors, or AI-assisted triage.
• Experience testing GIS or mapping software.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, BDD/TDD, Gherkin, or cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
• A degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
