Technical Lead, Data, AI & Analytics (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Own the technical product backlog, refine user stories, translate business requirements, and lead prioritization and sprint planning.
• Define solution architecture, technology choices, and reusable patterns for scalable, maintainable ML/AI applications and digital products.
• Design and drive implementation of the business unit’s cloud data lake, including data models, ingestion patterns, storage, and access layers.
• Integrate solutions with ERP, CRM, MES, historians, LIMS, and cloud platforms.
• Establish engineering standards covering code reviews, testing, CI/CD, MLOps, and model lifecycle management.
• Mentor data scientists, ML engineers, and developers while evaluating cloud-native data platforms, generative AI, and ML tooling.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• 8+ years across data science/ML and software engineering, including 3+ years in a technical lead or architect role.
• Experience delivering production-grade AI/ML systems in industrial or manufacturing environments and integrating them with enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms or data lakes, ideally AWS, plus advanced Python, cloud-native architecture, containerization, and MLOps.
• Experience leading agile technical delivery, backlog ownership, story refinement, and sprint discipline with business stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing IT/OT systems and industrial data; process-industry experience and hybrid modeling are strong advantages.
