Location: Hybrid (Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, or Leeds). Must spend at least two days per week, or 40% of time, at one of the office sites.

Salary: £63,152 - £78,940

What you will do

• Design and evolve secure design patterns for cloud-native and microservices architectures.
• Build and maintain reusable security components, frameworks, and reference implementations.
• Develop Python-based services and automation to enable secure-by-design adoption.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines to support engineering teams.
• Leverage GCP services to create scalable, resilient, and secure architectures.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to embed security early in the design phase.

Requirements

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Jekyll, or Liquid.
• Hands-on experience writing, troubleshooting, and fixing code.
• Understanding of Cyber Security domains and Cloud Security (GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of software containerization and related technologies.
• Ability to deliver outcome-focused security solutions across the development lifecycle.
