What you will do

• Develop resilient, scalable backend services using TypeScript and AWS for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead the technical vision for identity protocols, focusing on secure authentication and authorization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product vision, scope, and quarterly goals.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to help them own larger epics and level up their technical skills.
• Champion the entire SDLC, from requirements and design to testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Maintain system health through service ownership, including participating in on-call and off-hours duties.

Requirements

• Must be able to comply with U.S. government security requirements for FedRAMP-authorized systems (U.S. citizenship may be required).
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and testable full-stack code using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with large-scale highly available distributed systems and SaaS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, RESTful APIs, and secure web development practices.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., BitBucket, Jenkins, CircleCI) and serverless/lambda implementations.
• Proven track record of implementing authentication and authorization for internal and external customers.

Nice to have

• Experience using assertion frameworks and tools like Mocha, Cypress, or Jest to automate regression checks.
