Database Administrator V (OCI)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Define data elements, relationships, flows, storage requirements, and reporting capabilities.
• Design, develop, provision, and implement OCI database applications for varied user needs.
• Test and recommend OCI-native services, cloud migration tools, and software products.
• Perform system-level database and software maintenance, including scaling and patching through OCI consoles and APIs.
• Maintain database integrity, cloud security, and high availability across multiple OCI databases.
• Provide technical leadership and cloud subject-matter expertise to less experienced employees when needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant database administration experience, including substantial hands-on OCI operations.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, mathematics, or business.
• One of the following certifications: Cloud+, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Successful completion of drug and background checks is required.

Nice to have

• OCI certifications such as OCI Architect Professional or Autonomous Database Cloud Professional.
