Technical Solutions Engineer (Networking)

What you will do

• Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone and email.
• Resolve technical concerns regarding installation, operation, maintenance, and product compatibility.
• Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software applications to recommend corrective actions.
• Perform technical recreates in a dedicated lab environment.
• Document recurring technical issues to support product quality and development programs.

Requirements

• Must be based in Dublin, Ireland
• MS degree in a technical field (CS, EE, or ITP preferred).
• 1-5 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6).
• Experience with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Strong proficiency and comfort level with Linux.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborative problem solving.

Nice to have

• Relevant industry certifications.
• Prior TAC (Technical Assistance Center) experience.
• Programming or scripting skills in Python, C++, Java, Perl, JavaScript, or shell.
