Focus on shaping multi-million-dollar defense opportunities, translating customer needs into product priorities, and navigating European and multinational acquisition processes.

Location: Based in the London office, United Kingdom, with coverage across approximately 80% of Europe and a specific focus on Northern and Eastern European NATO frontline states. Heavy travel is expected, typically around 50%, with periodic trips to Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.

Company

hirify.global is a defense technology company founded in 2022 that develops multi-product systems powered by Coherent Distributed Networks for defense, commercial aviation, and border protection applications.

What you will do

  • Deliver and expand the European pipeline by shaping opportunities, qualifying requirements, developing capture plans, and supporting proposals and capability demonstrations.
  • Identify defense programs, budget cycles, procurement pathways, and emerging requirements across European ministries of defense, militaries, procurement agencies, primes, and integrators.
  • Build strategic partnerships with European industry players to support market entry, teaming, co-development, and sales.
  • Engage NATO and multinational contracting frameworks, customer stakeholders, diplomatic communities, and U.S. security cooperation agencies.
  • Represent CHAOS at customer meetings, conferences, exercises, trade shows, and industry days across Europe.
  • Translate European customer priorities into capability needs and participate in engineering roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience with European militaries, ministries of defense, or defense industry primes through industry or government employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, war studies, engineering, business, political science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of European defense procurement, national acquisition processes, non-traditional acquisition pathways, and the full capture lifecycle.
  • Significant experience writing defense proposals, market research, and white papers, with a record of capturing multi-million-dollar awards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, strategic judgment, attention to detail, and risk assessment skills.
  • Familiarity with radar, RF, and sensor systems, together with willingness to travel heavily across Europe.

Nice to have

  • Experience with weapons systems, defense technology, or communications beyond radar, RF, and sensors.
  • Established relationships with defense decision-makers, procurement agencies, military services, and industry contacts across the Nordics, Baltics, Poland, Romania, and the Netherlands.
  • A second working language, such as German, Polish, or a Nordic or Baltic language.
  • Knowledge of the European defense industrial landscape and experience developing business cases and market-entry partnerships.

Culture & Benefits

  • Private medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and dependents, fully paid by the company.
  • 5% pension match.
  • Competitive base salary, pre-IPO stock options, relocation assistance, and planned annual bonuses.
  • Opportunity to join a rapidly growing defense technology company with approximately 250 employees across five global offices.
