TL;DR
Networking Engineer (Cisco/Arista): Supporting enterprise and engineering network stacks within LAN/WAN/Cloud platforms with an accent on network maintenance, installation, and security compliance. Focus on configuring and troubleshooting multivendor environments, managing firewall policies, and ensuring adherence to SOX, NIST, and CMMC regulations.
Location: Tampa, USA. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role due to government contract requirements.

What you will do
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot corporate network systems across LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
- Manage and expand private and public cloud services, specifically within hybrid environments.
- Handle network requests including firewall policies, VPNs, and Layer 2/3 services.
- Maintain network architecture components such as DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- Implement security-first policies to ensure SOX, NIST 800-171, and CMMC compliance.
- Provide Tier 2 & 3 support and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field with 2+ years of experience, or an AA degree with 3+ years.
- Experience supporting and maintaining complex network environments.
- Proficiency with Firewalls, Routers, and Layer 2/3 Switches (Cisco/Arista).
- Understanding of ACLs, VLANs, DNS, IP addressing, and routing fundamentals.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Certifications: Arista Certified Engineer - Associate, CCNA Enterprise, or CompTIA Network+.
- Experience with PRTG, Solarwinds, or Nagios.
- Familiarity with hybrid Microsoft and Linux ecosystems.
- Exposure to Palo Alto hardware/software.
