Networking Engineer

Location: Tampa, United States; only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements

What you will do

• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud networking infrastructure.
• Assess network requests involving firewalls, VPNs, carrier services, cabling, Layer 2/3 services, cryptography, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Support multivendor environments including Cisco and Arista, as well as monitoring platforms such as CloudVision, PRTG, and Perle OOBM.
• Contribute to network design documentation, cloud and hybrid-network integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and high-availability operations.
• Support cybersecurity investigations, disaster recovery, business continuity, M&A, onboarding, and compliance with SOX, NIST 800-171, and CMMC requirements.
• Provide shift-based Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for a global network and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contract requirements, and eligibility for a DoD Personal Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field with 2 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting and maintaining complex network environments.
• Knowledge of firewalls, routers, Cisco or Arista switches, VPCs, VLANs, WiFi, cryptography, wireless technologies, WAN/LAN/WLAN, and network security.
• Knowledge of DNS, IPAM, FTP/SFTP, TFTP, LDAP, SMTP, 802.1X, TLS certificates, DHCP, SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, prioritization, and cross-team communication skills.

Nice to have

• Arista Certified Engineer Associate, CCNA Enterprise, or CompTIA Network+ certification.
• Experience with PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, Infoblox IPAM, or equivalent monitoring and management platforms.
• Experience supporting hybrid Microsoft and Linux environments, Cisco, Arista, or Palo Alto technologies.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud networking and Azure GCC-High workloads.
