What you will do

• Create and maintain Java-based automated tests for front-end, back-end, and service layers.
• Design comprehensive test scenarios and manage test data for complex business logic.
• Conduct non-functional testing, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Partner with developers and project managers to resolve defects early in the lifecycle.
• Develop and extend automation frameworks and testing tools for the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in technical QA and automation.
• Strong Java programming skills for writing and troubleshooting automated suites.
• Proven experience with non-functional testing and SDLC knowledge.
• Must be based in Toronto and able to work in-office at least 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Knowledge of capital markets or fintech platforms.
• Experience with performance testing tools.
