What you will do

• Own the multi-quarter vision and roadmap for Generative AI, translating business goals into a prioritized technical strategy.
• Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team of senior and principal-level scientists.
• Set the technical bar for the design and production deployment of LLM-based systems, including RAG, tool-use, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks (offline/online evals, LLM-as-judge) and safety guardrails.
• Drive LLMOps maturity, owning deployment, monitoring, and cost/latency optimization.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to embed generative AI into core product surfaces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading DS/ML teams in fast-paced production environments.
• Proven track record of shipping complex GenAI or large-scale ML products from ideation to production.
• Deep hands-on expertise in LLM architecture, evaluation, and production deployment at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Must be based in Brazil.
• Fluent English is required.
