TL;DR

Certification Project Manager (Cybersecurity): Leading end-to-end Common Criteria and FIPS security certification projects for enterprise Linux, virtualization, and containerized infrastructure products with an accent on compliance requirements, milestone execution, and evaluation-lab coordination. Focus on translating SFRs and SARs into engineering milestones, managing certification risks, and aligning cloud-native architectures with strict security evaluation criteria.

Location: Italy, EMEA

Salary: €54,000–€77,000 per year, including base salary and any applicable target bonus opportunity.

What you will do

Lead end-to-end security certification cycles, including Common Criteria and FIPS, for enterprise products.
Translate security functional and assurance requirements into engineering milestones and track delivery.
Coordinate with evaluation laboratories and certification bodies such as BSI, NIAP, and ANSSI.
Manage certification applications, technical inquiries, project risks, schedules, quality, and audit-ready documentation.
Coordinate Engineering, project management, external consultants, and partners around compliance requirements.
Organize workshops and enablement sessions to improve internal security and compliance awareness.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software product development or enterprise IT infrastructure.
1–2 years of experience managing product security compliance, particularly Common Criteria with NIAP VPP or GPOS, plus NIST/FIPS or ISO standards.
Technical familiarity with Linux, KVM-based hypervisors, containerized virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, and related security boundaries.
Experience executing milestones and using Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and AI-assisted productivity workflows.
Strong diplomatic, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Fluent professional spoken and written English is required. A project management qualification such as PMP or GPM/IPMA level C/D is expected.

Nice to have

German, Spanish, or Italian language skills.
