Legal Counsel (AI)

What you will do

• Lead and establish the APJ legal function, owning customer-facing commercial contracting and procurement end-to-end.
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including GPU as a Service (IaaS), PaaS, SaaS, and Reseller agreements.
• Manage legal aspects of data center construction, colocation, land acquisition, zoning, and energy grid connections.
• Serve as the primary legal partner for APJ Sales and Go-to-Market teams, providing business-oriented advice.
• Oversee external counsel across multiple APJ jurisdictions to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop regional contract templates, playbooks, and scalable legal processes as the business grows.

Requirements

• Qualification as a lawyer and admission to practise in Singapore.
• Approximately 8+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience.
• Prior in-house experience in technology, cloud, or digital infrastructure sectors.
• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements at pace.
• Exposure to procurement, construction, data center, infrastructure, or real estate matters.
• Must be authorized to work in Singapore.

• Experience with employment law matters in Singapore or across APJ.
• Deep expertise in energy, large-scale procurement, or data center development.
• Track record of partnering with business leaders during rapid international expansion.
• Experience establishing a regional legal function from the ground up.
