Utility Engineer

What you will do

• Assume technical responsibility for utility systems in European facilities for both new projects and system improvements.
• Manage various utility systems including power, refrigeration (NH3), HVAC, steam, thermal fluid, water supply, compressed air, and wastewater treatment.
• Develop technical concepts, prepare cost estimates, and create tender documents while reviewing supplier proposals.
• Review and approve contractor and supplier designs according to project requirements and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with process, equipment, and architectural engineering disciplines during installation and commissioning.
• Optimize existing installations in brownfield environments to improve energy efficiency, operational reliability, and compliance.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
• Professional experience with utilities or media supply systems in an industrial environment, preferably within the food industry.
• Proven experience in technical concept development, tender preparation, and bid evaluation.
• Fluency in English required; German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within Europe based on project needs.
• Valid driver’s license for European countries.
