What you will do

• Act as the operational layer between legal strategy and execution, managing the accountability cycle and translating priorities into clear ownership.
• Scale and enhance AI tooling for contract review, T&C management, and regulatory monitoring to handle increased volume without linear headcount growth.
• Provide senior leadership with a clear, data-driven picture of Trust & Transparency health to catch risks early.
• Manage a specialist legal team, defining KPIs and ensuring high-quality execution.
• Collaborate with regulators and represent the company's legal positions independently.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a Master's degree in Law.
• Strong professional background in financial services.
• Proven experience independently running a compliance or legal function across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience in direct dialogue and representation with regulatory bodies.
• Ability to design and implement AI systems to automate manual legal workflows at scale.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Amsterdam office according to the hybrid schedule.
